what happened to 2016? It's 2017!

What happened to 2016?!? I for one don't have a clue except it went by fast  and it seemed crazier then ever.  So the clock turned 2017 just days ago sparking my commitment to keep you informed on what's going on in YOUR Village.

First, if you're reading this you already know we have a new website.  After years of good service the old website is being retired for a more user friendly format, and I'm onto experimenting with a web based website.  So far so good... you're reading this after all!

So what else is new?

1. We've started a very exciting paving project aimed at the front entrance parking lot and two cul-de-sacs.  Unfortunately, those dang Garbage trucks have all but ruined the circles so time for a good excavation and repave!
2. We've also completed phase 1 of a multi-phase, multi-year project to continue to make our front entrance look better and better!  The company recently acquired 99 Riverpark and we are very pleased to have given it a much needed facelift.
3. The #3 bocci court is coming along nicely and should be ready for play very soon!
4. The Edgewater City manager and I are working on some exciting developments that are meant to increase the versatility of YOUR property (and its value)!
5. We continue to work with our fantastic Social / Resident's group (TMVRA) in helping the Village grow through their ideas and involvement in some nice changes. For some time now, I've been eager to sift through some of their various ideas and find mutual projects we could help them with and finance!  The product of this arrangement is already working.   You pobably notice that NEW mailbox lighting and front entrance lighting has been installed by our contractors with input from the TMVRA members.  Currently we are working on some new signage, with our Logo, for the waterfront area. Soon, I expect a new parking tag system, a concept almost 100% authored by the TMVRA, to be rolled out by them in the near future.  The goal is to have an easy system to help protect your waterfront, by allowing us to quickly tow away "outsiders" (trespassers), who from time to time come into your Village to try and use our awesome boat ramp and dock.  
6. To that regard, we all seem very happy with the new gate system at the boat launch which has turned out to be an excellent upgrade.

I've enjoyed a lot of time around the Village and love seeing everyone out and about getting things done and enjoying our FL lifestyle and weather.
